The RF is cool but yeah, the complex folding roof mechanism adds extra weight and takes up storage space that a dedicated coupe could avoid. I'd be all about a hardtop Miata. They could probably even save a little on costs too. I love a targa top, TTops, and sunroofs, but just can’t deal with a ragtop. I can’t think of any car that looks good as a convertible.
