I concur. This considering only a V12 can top an inline six for power AND smoothness. I have cranked the throttle on an Aston Martin DB9 a few times. It barks startlingly on command. All 420 Ft/lbs of normally aspirated torque.

I disagree regards to driving for work though. His mileage allowance probably doesn't cover the $35K cost of admission (est.). And, the front isn't really long enough to tuck the engine behind the steering rack.
