Something I didn't like about SAO after reading the light novels is that even though the translation to anime was almost 100%, they didn't include all the short stories.

Yeah... anime will never win against LN. Like Hollywood will never win against the book. I've read SAO LN (in Japanese) and I do agree they should of added some of side and short story in the series... but they have limited episodes, so they had to cut those out. BUT they should of put it in as an extra feature in DVD/BD.
