Aaron Cox Also, I'm wanting to use e85 again someday... when will that option be available?

Shiv Pathak Those who purchase the tuning support will also get all new 20G map releases as they come out in the future. This includes e85 maps! I hope to release them sometime in August/September.

Anthony Kulis @shiv - the upgrade doesn't come with a base map? We need to purchase that separately? Or did I misread what "tuning support" means

Raymond Kwan Chi Shiv what about the new sbd kit with the garret turbo? Are you guys working with that kit at all? Or just the 20g kit

Shiv Pathak Anthony Kulis Unfortunately, there is no safe way to do an off-the-shelf 10-11PSI base map. It's just not possible given the variables (fuel quality, wastegate adjustment, additional mods, conditions, etc.). So the hardware kit is for those who want ...See More

Christopher Persad Shiv Pathak how much will the entire kit with the upgrade be? And if there is no base tune how are we supposed to send the first data log? On the 7psi tune??

Shiv Pathak Raymond Kwan Chi As of now, we are only supporting the 20G simply because it's the turbo on our own test car. I have run GT30s on EJ20 WRXs before and it's not my preference for street use. It may be something that we throw in temporarily just to develop tune files and to offer tuning support. But I have no ETA on if/when this will happen.

Raymond Kwan Chi Well shiv I'm going to upgrade to it on my car later so you can test it on mine.

Shiv Pathak Christopher Persad Those who opt for tuning support will get a conservative base tune. This will allow them to dial in their wastegate actuator (if necessary) and let us confirm that everything is working as it should. If that is the case, we move on...See More

Christopher Persad How about the price for the turbo kit with the oft350? Any idea what it might cost all together? Shiv Pathak

Shiv Pathak Christopher Persad Pricing for the entire kit will be perhaps slightly less that what you would pay if you pieced everything (SBD kit, OFT350 upgrade kit and Tuning Support) together. We will have pricing for that by the end of the week.

Shiv Pathak Oh, and I've also been testing a very effective fuel additive that works VERY well. Ends up costing $7 per tank full but it bumps up octane significantly. Very good for us 91oct folks. Details on that to follow as well.

Jordan Mello Why do you need a new actuator? Can't you just adjust the old one?

Shiv Pathak Unfortunately tightening a soft wastegate actuator will not get you the same boost curve as using a stiffer spring. There is also a problem with the older 7psi WG actuator arms snapping when swapping in a stiffer spring. So the upgraded wastegate actuators included in our kit have both stiffer springs and stronger arms. We really have tried a few boost control options including MBC/EBC. And we found that running a properly adjusted 10psi WG actuator alone works the best for this application.
