Actually, my Millennial sons (2) and Gen Y (1) all prefer vinyl and had huge collections.
Personally, I don't really care as long as I can hear the music. I can tell marginal differences between the format, but unless it gets down to AM quality (is that a thing?) it doesn't bother me.
