That's the way my wife is seated too (5'2" as well, though she will argue 5'3" lol), but that's how she sits in all the cars she's had, her old Avalon, her scion xB... Maybe not all the way forward, but definitely all the way up.
She loved the fact that in 2013 model year, they made the passenger seats on 1LT and up have full power controls like the driver seat, so she could see over the dash. That was her one major complaint to the 2012 and earlier models. (my SS was '13my)
