Yes they have been working on it a while. The term they used was "agreed" today. There would of course have been background work going on while they were hashing out their deal but development of a new gen would not have gone very far until that deal was in place. I am not saying they weren't on it simply that the probability of seeing a concept in October is remote. Especially one built on a Toyota platform as the clickbaits were claiming their "insider" told them.
