First off, on June 6, thank you for your service! Was in the Army back in the 70's & a radio operator. The units we used could make a remote control plane go crazy, but autos didn't have the problem.
Anyway, my 2016 also has the problem you describe & I thought it was because of the temperature. Tried the spare key, the valet key & the same thing. It must be in the head unit of the car. Hoping someone knows a cheap fix.
