Operations specialist here. I park next to an RF hotspot, and it works fine. even my old saab's key fob. phone signal though...
The main issue is when the car sits overnight at the house, it wont recognize the key and goes banana's till i put it in the ignition. Doesnt happened recently but for 3 days straight last week it did it. to the point I had to remove the fuses for the horn so it wouldnt wake up the neighbors as 4 am.
