The change from Scion is a minor wrinkle in Toyota as far as the FRS goes. That change is not going to effect the announcement or facelift one little bit. It isn't a "Toyota version" coming out it is the same thing with a different badge just like the rest of the world has always been.
It is odd that we haven't seen anything about the Japanese update yet though as it is usually out by now.
