I used the Nord-Lock washers, torqued everything as close to the book as I could with all the different sockets, extensions, crowfoot wrench and still was under there five times over a couple of days. I did use new bolts instead of the studs from the header to the over pipe and never have had an issue there but you have to be really careful not to over torque it. Hammering the under tray is key and takes all of 10 seconds. I would suggest paying close attention to the header nuts. Good luck!

Which nord locks did you use? Was it the steel or stainless? Standard or enlarged diameter?

The stainless washers have a higher surface hardness which may help the serrations bite better.
