Are people really asking what the holes are for for this part? Read the link. Its for any water that may collect as it diverts it out if there is any water entering the duct for driving at higher speeds during heavy rain. IMO if you dont drive fast in rain it wont matter.

read the thread.. someone bought it for about 200 bucks if I remember correctly. 200 is cheap compared to all the other air ducts that are out for this car all costing more.

Prova has one for 400 and IMO the design of it isnt as nice as the Sym's or HKS with how it collects air.

Syms has one for 900 that is Carbon Fiber and replaces the whole front half of the OEM air box that is basically the same as this HKS duct but way more expensive and has an option of an extra part for 3-400 more dollars for carbon fiber part that goes where the sound tube/generator was at. If anyone has any idea what that part does I would love to know but IMO looks like a waste of money.
The thread has someone posting a dyno for the part but I doubt it was just the part it self. If anything the car probably had a tune or atleast a drop in filter in it.
