Had a headlight restoration done by a painter friend of mine recently and decided to take a few pictures.
I'm not sure of the grit level used, but the process was:
sand, change grit, wet sand, clean, apply heavy duty clear/bake in booth, apply second layer/final bake.
I've been assured that this should last a good long while.
