so there's 2 options that you can explore.

the first is a momentary-off. where the DRL only turns off for as long as turn signal light is on--so the drl/signal would alternate on/off when the signal is active.

this method just needs a relay, like this:

wire in the turn signal to 85, 86 would go to ground as the relay activation, and then wire the feed to the drl's in through pins 30&87a-- 87a would be the car-side of the drl wiring, 30 would be the output to the headlamp.

the 2nd option is more OEM. it would make the drl shut off for the duration of the time the signal is on, so only the signal will flash.

using the same relay, you need to add a delay-off module, like from here:

everything else would wire up similar, the delay-off just comes in before the relay on the turn signal side. the 1or2 pin would connect to the turn-signal, the L pin would connect to the relay on 85. the delay-off also requires a separate power source.
