I had an 07 Si 2 door. I think it "feels" very similar, even thought the fr-s might be slightly faster. I think the si gave the illusion that it was going faster than it was because the engine made such a racket at high rpms and also because it's seating position was so much higher.
I like the shifter on the fr-s better in every possible way. To me it has a better position, better feel and maybe even slightly shorter throws.
