I have not said this, but I'll say it now. While I cannot know for certain what the dealership was charging for the car in those original scenarios the OP showed, because he failed to show exactly what extras were purchased ... it looks to me as though they were
charging the OP more than MSRP for the car. For a 2013, now last year's car, that's not a good deal.
Another clue: They "pretended" they didn't know how much the car cost when the OP asked. Yeah? So, how did they compute the tax? On a mystery number?
