When I drive without rapid accelerations, about 70 mph on the freeway, and keeping the engine below 4000 RPM, or drive without using any more power than a Corolla could have, I get 30-31 mpg, which is about the same as a Corolla or Golf R and better than Type R. When I want it though, there is much more power to use.
