Let me ask you one question. How would I know the "grandpa" one wasn't driven to the full extent or worse?
As mentioned, if somebody told me they only drove to 3K on one of these I would probably laugh and walk away. It doesn't add value to the car when you make such a claim. Both would be worth exactly the same amount. Now, if one can put a well documented service history in front of me and the other says "I changed the oil once I promise" THEN I would lean toward the one over the other.
