The problem is that anybody can claim that they drive their car like a grandpa, even the people that beat the snot out of the car every mile of the car's life. If I were looking at buying a used sports car and the seller claimed that they never took it over 3k RPM, I would assume that they are just feeding me a line to try to sell the car.
