Same here. I actually feel that could be said about every change or aspect on the first gen refreshes. I didn't like it, now I do.
I think a lot of that is because you see the information presented in the gauge is gone really well using up the entirety of the right half of the little square. Things/graphics would have to be redesigned to fit the shape.
I personally feel Porsche did a nice job in integrating digital and analog on their past models.
