I saw that, and it improves things for someone wanting more power and a different drivetrain, but it will likely still be FWD biased with a typical haldex AWD system that doesn’t have a locking differential, nor will it likely have the towing capacity and off-road rigidity of a body-on-frame truck.
It is basically a Toyota Rav4 AWD with a bed, which isn’t a bad thing. It should sell well, but it might also trick a few people who see a truck, but don’t know it is a reskinned CUV.
