Yes. First off you have to understand the who and the why of the markings.

Waaaay back, in even before my day, the area was occupied by the Anasazi peoples. They usually stayed over in the Moapa Valley, but in the spring and fall they would trek over to the Valley of Fire area for a few weeks at a time.

Why did they do that? Well, the braves told the squaws that they were doing that to hunt for big game. However, the squaws knew that the only reason that they drug the family over there was because the braves wanted to do some ceremonial pipe smoking, lick toads and beat drums.

The squaws were left in the base camp to try to find berries and gather firewood. What did they do with the children? The old pa-pas were charged with child care for the younger ones. So, they would take the children out on adventures and let them draw in the caves and on the canyon walls.

What do the drawings mean? You would have to ask the kids that drew them -
