It's one thing when I'm in traffic doing that speed in Germany where everyone's in a sedan, wagon, or hatchback that's made to handle fairly well. It's crazy in Texas where most drivers are in SUVs and trucks that have terrible handling and stopping at that speed.

The cruise control on my friend's 1990s Audi 5000 cut off at 125mph. (It occurs to me now that's 200kph.)
