1570kg (3450lb) is with 90% full tank of gas + 75kg driver/luggage, aka its true curb weight is a tad under 1500kg or 3300lbs. Of course, this could just be optimistic..
The side profile looks exactly like an E46, which I'm kind of fond of. I don't like the engine though. If cost were not an issue, a shrunken S55 that can hit at least 7500rpm would be really great for this.
What's for sure is that car makers are upping their styling game, which is great.
