I can tell Subaru designed the brake system from the pedal feel. My STi has the same non-linear feel that my FR-S does.
I'm thinking this has to do with the brake booster and no the master cylinder, that's based how swapping my Nissan S13's manual transmission brake booster to one from an automatic S14 increased pedal feel.
Seeing how there isn't this capability with the FT86, do you know of some wizardry that can address the brake feel under moderate braking?
