They do not say anything about the cop registering. Why should they? The Provincial Offences Act lays it all out. They don't need to write the whole Act on a ticket.







In this case he didn't receive a "ticket" he received a summons. It is a whole different ball game since he MUST go to court (or at least settle with the prosecutor. There is no option to just pay off the fine.
Getting legal advise on a forum is a bad bad idea since as we have seen there are a lot of myths or misunderstood rules that people seem to think is a loop hole. There really are not as many loopholes as people think since the courts have heard it all before and are pretty good at closing them up.
