Had to go an hour south for my covid shot. Counted to 100 shifts, and checked the odometer-happened at 10.1 miles coincidentally.
The first 8 miles was the typical city driving that the cars always driven in- about 90 shifts in that, and then the last 2 miles opened up, and accounted for the last 10 shifts.
So my average is about 10 shifts per mile driven...
