It is a great unit. I love it. Screen is crisp and fast. It has Garmin GPS I use as a because Apple Maps use data and I am not always in a spot where I have good cell reception. It is a wired setup, which I actually prefer because I always have a charged phone. I think wireless is still in beta testing. As far as I know, there are no bluetooth carplay units yet.
As for the Carplay part, it is great when it works but it tends to hang sometimes. I have to turn it off and on again to make it work again. I am pretty sure it will be solved in the future with a firmware update. I have had two updates so far. |
I'm bumping this thread because I'm interested in this HU. I'm wondering, where do you get the trim pieces to fill in the gaps on either side?
