I just put it on yesterday so all I did was normal driving in town and on highway to confirm everything was working as it should and there were no leaks. I did like 2-3 2nd-5th gear pulls but the temp hardly moved. I’d say a max of 195° F during my driving yesterday.

From my understanding, the temperature reading is post cooler, meaning it’s getting the temperature readings from the oil that has already passed the cooler after exiting the engine, and is on it’s way back. That means the oil inside the engine is hotter. If I remember correctly, that temperature is like 20-30 higher.
