My Keyless Entry Is Working Intermittently - HELP!
Hey guys, new to this site because I just recently obtained a 2013 Scion FR-S 10 Series.
So a few days after I bought the car, I noticed that if I left the car sitting for a few hours or over night, I was not able to open the car with the key fob or with keyless entry. I had to physically open the door with the key. (Note: Car worked fine the first few days.
The lock/unlock buttons on the door inside of the car wouldn't work either, couldn't put the car into accessory mode but what is weird is that the car starts up just fine when I press the brake and push-to-start.
Now, lets say I drive the car to the commissary or to the gym and come back to the car, everything operates just fine.
Now what I'm thinking is that maybe it's a bad battery? but the dealer says the battery was just replaced 2 months ago and the wiring system was checked 2 months ago just as well. Any reason as to why this is happening?
Some factors that may contribute:
-recently blew one of the 15A 12v cig fuse
-parked the car one day for a few hours with the windows down
