Need to resurrect this topic.
I'm having a squeak issue with my BRZ. After searching the whole internet and all available forums, this sounds the closest. Here are my symptoms:

* Makes a high-pitch chipmunk-like "squeak" noise every 15-25 seconds, only when moving. Nothing while at rest. I noticed it around 3000-4000 rpm.
* Does not happen always. Perhaps 2 out of 5 times I drive.
* Does not depend on outside temperatures.
* It does not happen when I take it to a dealer for diagnosis
* This is NOT the fuel pump continuous chirp. I hear that too.

Does any one have any videos so I can compare? I tried to record my audio, but I couldn't capture the noise.
