He wanted $50 for it, he gave him a hundred. Damn thing is mint, was properly winterized before storage. Fuel tank doesn’t even smell like gas, filters are still clear. Pretty sure a carb clean and a new battery and it will fire up. It’s in my shop now of course.

The old stand ups were a lot different then the ones they sell today. It took quite a while until you got good enough to do any kind of maneuvering standing up, then, even if you got good, and modded to double the HP, you were still doing maybe 25-30 mph on glass. The ones now, an 8 year old that has never rode one before can get on one and go 65. I spent a lot of time on one of the original 440s back in the day.
