I haven't tried any others, but the Blizzak WS80 has served me well through 3 winters. If you're driving on dry roads more often than not, they'll likely wear out within a couple of seasons of use, but even worn down they're still way better than trying to drive on anything else in the snow.
EDIT: That last line came out a little more loaded than intended. By "anything else" I meant any non-winter tire.
