Are turbo kits different because the setup reaches peak efficiency later in the rpm range, or are the people I'm seeing with turbo kits generally throwing caution to the wind?
1) Dynos read differently
2) SC have parasitic loss and make less power with the same amount of "boost"
3) a centrifugal SC will reach peak efficiency late so that's not necessarily the case
4) it all comes down to fuel and and tuning. 300whp on 91 is completely different than 300whp on E85
5) boosting a non turbo car without engine work is always a risk.
