All ecutek roms are encrypted regardless of wether racerom is added. You cannpt flash ecutek roms to the ecu regardless of if racrom is added as becaise of encryption the ecu will not understand the encrypted rom.

Ecutek wil not let you flash any non stock to to ecu without adding racerom, racerom is what locks the ecu by changing the seed key access sequence.

If you try to flash an ecutek rom to an ecu with another device you will end up with a non functioning ecu.

Diring the flash process ecutek software decrypts the rom and flashes ecu, it also looks for an ecutek licience, and after its flashed rom the ecu is locked so you cannpt (easily) read oit the rom as then you would have access to the un encrypted ecutek rom with racerom.

Get a hex editor

open a stock rom (non wcutek) look at say hex 8000 address you will see the ecu calibration id like ZA1JA01G. then open and ecutek rom look at same address, rom is jist rubbish as its encrypted liked brzedit roms, they are not usable without ecutek software.
