I'll be honest coy is a tough one just to read. It's that woman who bats her eyes innocently when you know damn well she is not. Like definitions say shy, modest, but it's in a way where the person is slow playing you. Slow playing is in poker, for example, where you have a really good hand but you bet low so people think they can beat you. Being coy is where you act innocent, shy, modest, reserved but you know exactly what you are doing. The motives don't ultimately have to be evil, but it is using a bit of trickery as you are smarter than you are letting on.
