I love your photos and enthusiasm.
I think you shouldn't even add HP until after a few track events.
About shifting, something does not add up.
I have never owned a car that is easier to shift.
Issues with 1->2 are probably not about the spring.
Are you trying to downshift into 2nd with too high RPMs ?
