MT is and always be more engaging. Yes its more of a pain if you're in traffic and driving slow but the upsides of driving MT in the open roads is worth more than AT.

I own an AT (I just bought this car as a beater) and in manual mode, it shifts super slow and the gearing is really long it seems like. If I want lightning fast shifts, I have an R8 for the weekends .

Most people don't care for a MT anymore as they used to but someday in the near future, MT will be gone forever and everyone will miss it.
