Is there any software which let's you dyno-tune the FA20 by changing map entries on the fly?
By dyno-tune I mean:
1. hooking up the engine on an engine dyno.
2. Setting the dyno to keep the engine at a predetermined cell say 6000 RPM, 80% load. Then change the advance in steps of say 0.2 degrees and record the change in torque for every step and noting the value of advance when torque wax max just before knock.
3. repeat step 2 for fuel map.
4. repeat steps 2 and 3 for other cells were increase in torque is required.

from what I understood the available software you prepare the whole map, upload it to the ECU. Then take a log of a run and study the log, see were it was rich/lean and adjust the fuel, see if there was knock and retard the spark otherwise you can advance. From the MAF you have an indication of the power gained or lost.
But maybe I'm missing something.
