This opens the door to all the Toyota franchises that didn't spend the $ on Scion franchises to sell the previously slated for Scion models. This can only result in higher sales for those models, hopefully WITHOUT cannibalizing the Toyota line sales. I think the recent model introductions were strategic in that there are no Toyota equivalents.
eg: Matrix discontinued, new iM, no Yaris sedan presently, new xA. The FR-S is a unique model as well and they can extend the cycle out of the existing platform by rebranding it a GT86 (lots of people will buy into that I bet), and then at the end of the cycle possibly offer higher price option packages before the next model into.
