I change my oil every 3,000 miles myself for various reasons - primarily due to aftermarket setup and tune. Spark plugs I've changed once, didn't really need to by the looks of them. You're not kidding. Hearing this thing spool is a treat. The 2867R is so noisy - in the best of possible ways.
Going to put a blanket on it; even though this is mounted low - I can tell a major heat difference. Hood is vented; but it didnt help enough. Also with the turbo being next to the trans... I'd rather have some heat protection.
Anyone else go this route?
