You're right it's not but at least with the M3 I was waiting for something that would eventually happen. Everything about THIS car is a waiting game to build speed and momentum...which once it does it does quite well but in a car that will admittedly not throw you back in your seat you should have a more instantaneous throttle response IMO.
Sucks SOME of the life out of these cars.
