I am sure people are going to throw spacers on hubs to try an get the widest wheels possible. No consideration for Scrub Radius will be given (looking at the diagram, it will possibly become more positive), and they may end up screwing the handling up. Not to mention increasing unsprung weight, which is almost never a good thing for sporting applications.

If I were hell-bent on getting grippier tires, I would just buy a higher quality compound and not screw up what is a very good suspension set-up from the factory.
