A couple years ago I picked up an Impreza wagon as a daily driver and for some reason, I decided I needed a summer set of wheels/tires & a winter set. Long story short, what I learned was a lesson on unnecessary expenses.
I bought these wheels from a friend who had them professionally powdercoated to what I believe is the same shade of silver used for the factory wheels. With the wheels being powdercoated, nothing sticks to them. No brake dust, no road grime, nothing! They get dirty for certain but all dust is wiped off, water isn't even needed but I'd still recommend it to avoid scratching. The wheels are in near perfect shape with minor cosmetic imperfections shown below For clarification, these are indeed 5x100 and measure 17x7.5 with a +53 offset. They are forged and weigh right around 15 pounds per wheel.
The tires, Continental Dry/Wet (DW) were beyond overkill for the Impreza and the way I drive it (like an old man) but they are a great set of summer tires for the FRS/BRZ. For those that aren't familiar with the tires, they have exceptional tread wear quality for a summer only tire. They're usually good up to 30k miles and these tires have exactly 10,389 miles on my wagon and about 50 miles on my BRZ when I swapped them on to take on a photo-op. The tires have plenty of life left for the next owner.
My asking price is $1400 and I am located in WV (just south of the PA border). I'm willing to meet up and even willing to ship at the buyer's expense.
I am fully aware of what a used and abused set of 2004 STI wheels go for and have assessed my price accordingly for a rare set of high quality, forged, wheels in beautiful, near-perfect condition.
