It depends. Generally I say pick tire compound first, then everything else falls in place.

Pilot Super Sports are a great sticky summer tire that does well for most people. On stock suspension it'll be fine...more camber and maybe a little more roll resistance would make me "happy" with them but still good.

With R-compounds you'll definitely want firmer springs, probably coilovers.

And on the flipside, very firm coilovers with the OEM tires is going to lose grip easily.
