Got to admit this one makes me nervous. Toyota in my small town just does not see enough FA20s to know what they are doing and I'm running a full Delicious Tuning E85 Edlbrock SC setup with a bunch of under the hood mods to support it. I was in asking about a minor cam carrier leak (that was actually there prior to adding the SC so stupid on me to put on the SC before making them fix it...) and they said they would do it but if they even suspected it was due to the SC they would charge me full price. You know damn well they would have found a reason to charge me
. I've got 45K miles on this thing so you would think I would have seen this by now if it was going to be an issue (especially with FI). If they manage to drop a bunch of sealant into the engine I could be screwed right quick. I was hoping to avoid buying a built short block for a while.
Sad part is the Subaru dealer (same parent company) won't touch it because it's a Toyota. Ya I get it but its really annoying.
BTW I never got a letter, but after checking with Toyota I'm in.
