If daily driving fuel economy matters, i'd think of working on it in tune in low to mid rpms, like 1.7-3.5K rpms, below dip. This part of powerband is not used on track anyway, where everybody tries to keep in real powerband, 4K till redline. Load also is less, so maybe less safe timings or leaner AFR may work?
