HRTROB, do you thing there is any chance of simply removing the plastic part right under the column by your knees and then unbolt those two main bolts and then the bolt by the brake switch and then lower the whole thing enough to get the the motor? I’m just looking under here and trying to think of the easiest way to do this without removing stuff I don’t need to. I’m tempted to start pulling it apart tonight but don’t really want to be up all night working on it either.
What are your thoughts?
I was hoping I could get a crows foot on the two bolts holding the motor on and access it without taking everything apart but I can’t even get it on the bolts because there isn’t enough clearance between the bolt and the case of the motor.
