P0171 popped up about three or so minutes into my drive home from work on Thursday
Started the car and let it idle until the rpm 'leveled out', then mostly just sat around at a stop light or two. I'll be checking intake and exhaust manifold torques along with breathers and such as mentioned here back in late 2015. Has anyone else had any experience with this code and solutions other than the above suggestions? The only performance modifications the car has are this supercharger kit and a new exhaust; it has been running without codes since the start of the year.
I brought the code up with a friend who's far more into tuning and such than I am, and eventually the conversation ended up with them being surprised that I was still using the "rolling tune". How many of you have taken your cars to someone to have them tuned beyond the Cosworth tune? Is this recommended, or should I remain on the tune that Matt provided?
