the contract might say you've bought the car, but include something like these terms are not final, subject to being able to obtain the financing, and if financing isn't available at these terms you'll need to come up with something on your own or they will get you a loan.
i.e. READ YOUR PAPERWORK and see if you need to go back in and renegotiate, or you may end up with something much, much worse.
